The show "Money Laundering & a Cascade of Hormones" from "Young Sheldon Season 5 Episode 6", featured tributes to Ryan Davis who tragically died while working on the series. Davis was a respected audio engineer whose work was included in numerous movies and television series. In the 50 episodes on "Young Sheldon" Davis was an expert mixing mixer who blended each audio element effortlessly. Davis was the one who retooled the audio elements in each episode, including Adult Sheldon's narration. The result is a nostalgia to the show. The season 4 premiere episode "Young Sheldon," Davis gave Amy and Sheldon's sons their names. Davis has been able to contribute his talents to some of these exciting prequel moments during his time. Davis used throwback tunes and hilarious dialogue as well as suburban sound effects, and gripping football games from seasons 2-5 of "Young Sheldon". This gave the series a grounded and realistic quality. The spin-off does not have a comedy track. It also gives Davis the opportunity to play on other aspects of the original series. However, when he died it was not without a little bit of initial confusion over his identity and role within the show.
